Photo of Native City, Tianjin in 1912. The photo shows several victims who were tied up and guarded by armed troops on the street. The had no shirts on. It can be told from the photo that the victims still had their plaits on their head. The note on the back reads:
" Tientsin Native City. 3/3/12. On the way to the execution ground. Notice how the civtims are trussed up so that they cannot move their bodies at all. Notice also how tight the cords are; also the pigtail tied up to give free access to the neck."
